Dave Lennox Signature® Collection G61V Gas Furnace
Here at Webber, we recommend the G61V Signature Furnace, a high efficiency,
extremely quiet gas furnace to heat your home. With energy prices on the
rise, efficiency is becoming more of an issue than ever before. That's why
the G61V has efficiency in mind. With up to 95% AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization
Efficiency), the G61V can help save you hundreds of dollars in energy costs
per year.
SilentComfort™ Technology
Furnaces are meant to be quiet, out-of-sight, and out-of-mind. The G61V aims to be so quiet that you forget it is even there. It is up to eight times quieter than competitive furnaces, thanks to the use of SilentComfort™ technology. The variable speed motor allow the furnace to precisely control the air flow in your home. This increased control allows the furnace to gradually increase or decrease the speed of the motor, which allows for quieter and more efficient operation.
Outstanding Efficiency
The G61V is one of the most efficient furnaces money can buy, which means it can save you money on your energy bill. With less energy lost due to inefficiency, the G61V can get the most out of the energy it does require and can save you hundreds of dollars per year. The G61V has an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) rating of 95%, which is impressive, given that many older furnaces have an AFUE of 65%, or even 55%. Against these furnaces, the G61V can save you up to $2240 - $3530 per year! Actual results may vary, according to weather patterns, local fuel rates, and other factors.
Two-Stage Operation
Older furnaces have essentially two modes: on and off. A furnace like this sits idle, waiting for the thermostat to tell it that it is time to turn on and heat the house. This design is simple, but inefficient, as temperatures can swing wildly while the furnace is off. The G61V implements a new two-stage operation, which makes it work like two furnaces in one: a small one and a large one. The "small furnace" is used for mild days, where temperatures won't vary much. The "large furnace" is forthose bitterly cold winter days. It helps keep a steady, warm environment in your house. This two-stage design helps alleviate temperature variation through those temperature-varying Ohio springs and falls.
